Diet, Health & Exercise – Support Alongside Spokz People

Dom Thorpe

Alongside the support we offer, there are other areas of your life that can improve your well being and mental state. Diet and nutrition, health and wellness, exercise and grooming are all important to look at. We can provide some basic support on these topics, but there are professionals who specialise in these areas, have disability experience and are familiar with what Spokz People do.

Diet and Nutrition

Rebecca Dent is a qualified dietitian and has 16 years’ experience working in the NHS, private practice and sport. Her experience includes weight management, heathy eating, Diabetes, autoimmune diseases, IBS, preventing malnutrition and maximising health and wellbeing through nutrition. Rebecca offers a free 15 minute consultation to see if her services are right for you.

Health and Wellness through herbs

Christine Cannon is a qualified herbalist and has 25 years’ experience. Christine uses the medicinal power of plants to improve health and wellbeing. Her current passion is in the healing properties of CBD (cannabidiol) oil and how this can help alleviate many issues related to disability: pain, fatigue, spasms, stress, anxiety, low mood, hormonal imbalances and insomnia. Christine offers 1-2-1 consultations on how much of what herbs to use to maximise change in your health. She practices in the USA, but works on Skype and via email with UK clients. Unlike the UK, in the USA herbalists all have to be state-licensed and registered and complete a standardized high level training. Get in touch with Christine here
