I suppose for me it raises the ethical framework factor of what might constitute harm? Not knowing is very often worse for the person unknowing than knowing what was the issue. A counsellor saying ‘I can’t handle your disability’ is at least honest. A counsellor might be expected to be honest/congruent? Perhaps the framework implies that we should…[Read more]

Hi All,
In the Equality Act 2010 it uses the phrase ‘reasonable adjustment’ for organisations or individuals to consider in making access open to all by reasonably adjusting their buildings. It appears to me to be negatively biased against potential users and causing a power imbalance against any user. What do others think about this?
